B-Line at Cambridge Folk Festival
Cambridge Folk Festival has been taking place since 1965 and is a major highlight of the UK’s Folk music calendar.
B-Line operates seven bars. Each bar has its own character depending on its location such as for example intimate guest bars in back stage areas to large scale arena bars which offer a quick service and a wide range of ales for the 10,000 festival-goers.
The festival’s main bar is housed within a large tent with a priority on high turn-over whilst offering a broad range of ales. Working with Otter Brewer we offer four main ales as well as a range of guest ales throughout the weekend (including from local breweries from less than two miles from the festival site).
In contrast the festival’s Guinness Tent aims to be considered very much as a traditional pub. B-Line were keen to develop this idea and worked closely with our suppliers to develop intimate handmade wooden snugs within the tent, and introduced custom-made seating and tables which give the impression of a time-honoured Irish Bar. This created the perfect setting for the spontaneous performances which take place within this venue, not forgetting the festival’s Backstage Bar, Campsite Bar and Off-Sales facility also provided at Cambridge Festival by B-Line.
B-Line Bars also developed and produced The Gin Bar activation on behalf of Bombay Sapphire, an example of how B-Line Festival Bars can help aline the right sponsors for your event.
